Kits have been designed and packaged for the investigations and activities, making it as simple as possible for you to have all the resources you need at your fingertips. You will find customized kit components manufactured for specific activities such as:

• Plate Motion and Plate Interactions
• Rupture and Rebound Activities
• Rock Abrasion Assessments
• Glacier Erosion and Deposition Factors

What's more, the American Geological Institute checked and approved the contents of each kit, assuring you of quality and scientific accuracy. And, most importantly, our kit division will work with you closely to plan a package that will fit your needs.

The Classroom Kits are designed to service 28-35 students and are made up of 3 components:

1. Recommended Materials

The recommended materials are composed of durable items that are used repeatedly throughout the entire program (many of the 9 modules of Investigating Earth Systems or the 5 modules of EarthComm). You may already have these components in your school labs. Please take a close look at the list and discern whether or not it is necessary to purchase any of these items.

2. Durables

Durables are reusable items that may or may not be found in your school's lab. These components represent a one-time purchase. If your school's lab contains any of these items, you have the option to customize your order.

The consumable items are used throughout the year and need replacement depending on class size. These components can be reordered through It's About Time, as needed.
